10U to 18U Youth Hockey

The Kenosha Komets will be fielding tournament teams for 10U through 18U youth hockey programs for the 2025 Spring season. Each team will participate in two tournaments that are included as a part of their registration fees. Any additional tournament play is at the discretion and cost of each individual team.

USA Hockey

All Komets players must be currently registered with USA Hockey before they will be able to register for Komets Spring Hockey. Each player must have their own, unique USA Hockey confirmation number and will need their current USA Hockey number to proceed with registration.

If you do not have a USA Hockey number, please first register with USA Hockey and return to registration to signup for our Spring Season.

To obtain a USA Hockey number:

  • Step 1: Click the link below to register your player(s) with USA Hockey.
  • Step 2: Print and save the confirmation code(s).
  • Step 3: Return to this registration and proceed. Enter the USA Hockey Confirmation number that you printed in Step 2.

Program Information

Season

The Spring season will run from the week of April 7 through May 31. Dates may change based on the tournaments selected by each team.

Eligibility

Players must have participated in a full-ice travel or house program for the 2024 - 2025 season OR participated in Komets Development Program and have received approval from our Komets Hockey Director, Bob Leitza.

Teams

Teams are structured by age groups as determined by the USA Hockey 2025 - 2026 birth years as well as each player's individual performance at tryouts.

Fees

The registration fees at each level will include two tournaments, one one-hour practice each week, and practice jerseys for our new players. As much as we try to keep our fees low, unfortunately tournament fees have dramatically increased recently with some as high as $1,600 (or more!) for each team's entry.

You may pay all fees up front or may choose an installment plan with the payment being due on the 9th of the month.
