Coach Herman

Coach Herman's core skills come from his passion for the game. He has played pretty much his whole life and know the game inside and out. He has coached many levels which helps him better understand the different game groups he coached. The kids will grow with him because he has a positive and fun attitude and patience to teach the kids at the speed then need to be taught at.

"I coach hockey because it’s been a love of mine for over 30 years. I am coaching the level I am because my daughter is playing at this level."

"My approach is to work on the fundamentals of the game. Starting with the basics and moving forward with the pace that fits the child."

Coach Herman brings his passion for hockey and more than 5 years coaching experience to the ice. 

"My hockey journey began just outside of Grand Rapids Michigan. I started coaching right out of high school for my old high school team. I came to the Komets when my daughter decided she wanted to get into playing hockey.

I’ve coached many levels from varsity hockey to early development. I’ve been to coaching clinics and learned from amazing coaches that helped me get to where I am today. "
